Our Work

Youth Training Networks

We offer unique training programmes with young people in mind, through low-cost training and goal delivery mechanism – supported by our software.

What do you get?

Provision of a Data Capturing and Reporting System

You get a web and mobile based solution to capture beneficiary details, feedback, and stories. The solution is easy to use and is accessible via phone, ensuring that data was captured in real-time with minimal use of paperwork

This unique process runs on our own software — no forgotten reports or data handling errors. No need to sweat about the information and data you need (proof of training, validation, outcome-based targets).

Recruitment and Management of Networks

We assist you in managing your network in terms of control, quality, and feedback to improve your programme. If you are still at the phase of finding people, we also got you covered. We have a proven track record of being able to find the right fit for our clients.

In total, 65 young unemployed youth in the Tshwane area were able to access opportunities to learn new skills that are transferable in the workplace as well as some income as a result of them being engaged in the project.

Note: We are not a recruitment agency. But we do offer this service for programmes which fit our focus and interest, given they are sizable enough for our work to add true value.

Payment Mechanism for Work Done

For your convenience, we use a unique mobile payment solution. Work is paid upon goal completion. You will receive an invoice for the work done with proof and reports you need to grow your programme.

National Youth Development Agency

National Youth Services volunteer programme runs on our technology. We help young people engage it to create communities of change – meeting the beneficiary data targets of the NYDA

 Harambee Youth Empowerment Accelerator

A City of Johannesburg Project helping young people learn skills through volunteering in their city.

Rotary Health Days, with the Department of Health

A group of ambassadors went through facilitation training and helped to facilitate over 100 workshops with young people reaching over 2000 beneficiaries

About The Social Collective

The Social Collective was awarded as a winner in the Coca-Cola Shaping a Better Future Challenge 2014, at The World Economic Forum in Davos.

The company was selected for its focus of using technology to improve the employability of youth. While upscaling the impact the team tapped into insight around M&E, where little synergy and data exists and is accessible to organisations implementing programmes for funders.

The Social Collective has since rolled out the solution with organisations to centralize and standardize reporting and programme performance.
